Copenhagen

February 29 - March 2

$35

Tickets available at www.ptix.bm from February 6

In 1941 Werner Heisenberg visited Neil’s Bohr, his former mentor and research colleague, in Copenhagen in Nazi-occupied Denmark. Why did he visit Neil’s Bohr and what was discussed? No-one knows for sure, but this question was the subject of intense debate for his entire life. This uncertainty is at the core of the drama surrounding the development of the atomic bomb during WW2, and the memories of the characters of their work together in Denmark before the war, and the meeting in 1941 that ended their friendship.

This amateur production of “Copenhagen” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk
